Brian Yoos was born in Smithtown New York in 1972. He and his family lived in Setauket New York their entire life. Brian has been around the fire service his entire life and has followed in the footsteps of his Father, an Ex-Captain and Ex-Fire Commissioner of the Setauket Fire Department, and his Brother, FDNY Lieutenant and Ex-Chief of The Setauket Fire Department. Brian joined the Setauket Fire Department as a Junior Firefighter at age 14 and became member of the department at age 18, in 1990. He has since held the ranks of 2nd Lieutenant and 1st Lieutenant of Hook and Ladder Company #1 and has been a Rescue Technician on the Brookhaven Technical Rescue Task Force since 1997. |
