The Miller Place Fire Department has just joined the Brookhaven Technical Rescue Task Force.

They are reporting in with nearly 24 active members that are trained to the Technician Level in Water & Ice Rescue as well as Vehicle & Machinery Extrication. The Miller Place Fire Department is currently enrolled in a Trench Rescue & Shoring Operations Level course.

Miller Place Fire Department will be responding with Miller Place Fire Department Rescue 8 (5A-9-8) their new, but slightly used (purchased from Coram Fire Department) Technical Rescue Vehicle. Welcome to Long Island’s Biggest & Best Technical Rescue Task Force.
